24 April 2013 Instant Effects Updates Real Time Presentation Software

Version 5.6 of the Presenter family of real time production software was released today by Instant Effects. This update contains a long list of features aimed at content creators interested in producing fully interactive 3D presentations for teaching, training, and product promotion.

The v5.6 update offers the ability for presenters to control the flow of a presentation via advanced touch controls, and other modern navigation techniques such as dynamic pop-up panels and support for external hardware controllers.

Pricing remains the same with this release, and free updates are available to current Presenter customers with active support contracts. Version 5.6 is available for immediate download.

An extensive update to the Presenter family of real time production software was released today by Instant Effects. The company’s Presenter software is used worldwide to produce high profile events at venues such as Mobile World Congress, the Primetime Emmy Awards, the Consumer Electronics Show, PC World Expo and Computex.

Release 5.5 of the Presenter software family builds on the success of Release 5.0 by streamlining workflow, enhancing the real time 3D rendering and compositing engine, and allowing for finer control during presentation development and delivery.

In particular, S3D Presenter, geared toward stereoscopic 3D production, now provides extensive controls for embedding and interacting with stereoscopic 3D content (video, stills, 3D models, text, etc), and supports almost all stereoscopic display and projection hardware on the market today.

A new member of the family, 3D Presenter, is geared toward cost-effective delivery of full stereoscopic 3D presentations for marketing, training, and education.

The company’s free 3D FXD Player has a fresh new user interface and now provides optional (paid) support for stereoscopic 3D output. That makes the 3D FXD Player an ideal solution for distributing interactive marketing and education media, as well as for distributing interactive 3D media and 3D videos.

Instant Effects’ Authoring Toolkit, built to allow users to create fully customized motion backgrounds, transitions, logos, and interactive 3D models, now supports richer lighting and rendering models, simpler access to advanced features, and direct support for educational and instructional media development with features as face-forward labels, triggerable animation actions, text label localization support, and easier preview of models under development.
